General hygiene rules:
Maintain hand hygiene. Regularly wash your hands with soap and warm water (cold water if warm water is not available) for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
Cough/sneeze into your sleeve, preferably into your elbow. If you use a tissue, discard it properly and clean/sanitize your hands immediately.
Avoid touching your face, particularly your eyes, nose, and mouth with your hands to prevent from getting infected.
Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces
Proactive measures:
Stay home when you are sick
Avoid close contact with people who are sick
We will be working with the venue to make sure that elevated cleaning protocols are followed and that high-touch surfaces are sanitized frequently. Other on-site precautions will be taken, including hand sanitizing stations throughout the conference hall.

REGISTRATION
How do I get the membership registration rate?
In order to receive the membership rate for the Gathering, you must maintain an active certification and an active membership account.
I’m having issues registering; who do I contact?
Please contact gsgpdx23@scrumalliance.org and leave a detailed message about the issues you may be having. We will respond promptly.
My company will be paying for my registration fee; how do I register and obtain an invoice?
Send an email to accounting@scrumalliance.org and we will send a follow-up email with all the instructions to register and obtain an invoice.
What is your refund and cancellation policy?
We understand that we’re living in a time of uncertainty, and making plans can be challenging. If you cannot attend the Global Scrum Gathering for any reason, you are welcome to substitute the name on your ticket to another attendee for no additional fee as long as the substitute qualifies for the same type of registration (member vs. non-member). If the substitute attendee does not qualify for your ticket type, an additional fee may be required.
If you need to cancel due to COVID-19 immediately prior to the event, we will be happy to convert your in-person registration to an online registration and refund you the difference in cost.

Please be aware that no-shows on the day of the Global Scrum Gathering are responsible for the entire conference fee.
Scrum Alliance Inc. reserves the right to cancel the in-person portion of the event or substitute speakers if the original speakers are unable to attend. In the unlikely event that Scrum Alliance Inc. should have to cancel the in-person portion of the Global Scrum Gathering, all attendee tickets will be converted to online tickets and refunded the difference.
I need to apply for a visa. Does Scrum Alliance offer a Letter of Invitation?
Regretfully, Scrum Alliance is not able to offer Letters of Invitation to attendees; it is solely at your own discretion to obtain the necessary paperwork for your visa.
However, if you do need a Letter of Invitation for your visa, you may use your registration papers and hotel confirmation. This has worked for past attendees.
Are you offering group, non-profit, or government discounts?
We have group discounts (members and non-members) available for four or more individuals to receive 10% off their Global Scrum Gathering registration. Please reach out to gsgpdx23@scrumalliance.org if interested.
I’d like to possibly submit a request to my company to attend the Scrum Alliance 2023 conference. Since this content is somewhat outside of my current role, I’ll need to justify the cost with the business reason, which would require further information such as the agenda or some session information. Is it possible to obtain this content?

What are the dates of the Gathering?
Registration opens on Sunday, May 7 at 5:00 pm MT, and we’ll be holding a Welcome Reception from 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Monday, May 8, is when we kick off all sessions! We end all events on Wednesday, May 10 at 5:00 pm.

Onsite parking is provided in the convention center's underground garage. You may enter the garage through either the NE Lloyd Boulevard (P1) or NE First Avenue (P2) entrances. Clearance on the P1 Level is 7 feet; clearance on the P2 Level is 9 feet. We have a total of 800 spaces.
Standard Daily Parking Rate: $12
Larger Event Rates: A dynamic rate of $12 - $20 will be charged at parking garage entry during events.

Can I get SEUs for attending the Gathering?
All attendees are eligible to earn Scrum Education Units (SEUs) for attending the Gathering. One hour of participation time is equivalent to one SEU. Presenting, coaching, and attending sessions at the Gathering all count as SEU-eligible activities.

How do I get access to attend virtually?

Do we have an established start/end time for the Gathering, particularly for the virtual option?
